National Teaching Conference 14-17 April 2014

The 2014 Waldorf Education Conference takes place this year at Elmfield School in the West Midlands. This year’s theme is ‘Learning by Doing: developing creativity, confidence and character’. There will be 200 teachers from state and independent schools and a superb array of courses, discussion groups and evening speakers.

This is a must for creative primary and secondary teachers who are committed to kinaesthetic learning. Where else can teachers learn how to use puppetry, pedagogical theatre, outdoor science, break-making, outdoor clay creations, woodwork for 4-8 year olds, blacksmithing for teenagers ... the list goes on!

Thanks to Elmfield School’s use of the Waldorf approach, the school won the 2013 Independent Schools’ Awards, and was shortlisted for the TES Awards and Pearson Teaching Awards.

The course brochure is attached here. For full details and costs, visit www.elmfield.com

We look forward to welcoming you on 14 - 17 April for what promises to be a fun and active four days!
