We are beginning use the information we hold to investigate tutors and coaches who have not declared their full income. Those who wait for HMRC to come to them will find that they have to pay much higher penalties or even face criminal prosecution

HMRC’s strong advice is to contact us before we contact you.

Tuition doesn’t have to be your full time day job. You may use your skills in a number of ways, for example – private tuition of traditional academic subjects, writing academic articles, exam invigilation, fitness and dance instruction, musical instrument tuition, art and services providing life coaching.
