The World Famous African Children’s Choir are looking for friends. The primary goal of the Choir is to raise awareness of the need of destitute and orphaned children in Africa and to raise funds for the continued development and support of the Choir’s work. The ‘Friend of the Choir’ campaign is a giving programme. Schools, Groups, Churches and Organisations can choose a monthly or annual pledge to partner with the African Children’s Choir financially and help us meet needs where help is needed most. By becoming a friend of the Choir your school will become part of the Choir’s extended family and will make a valuable contribution to their continuing activities as well as benefiting from workshop and concert opportunities. Depending on the size of your school the annual donation could be achieved by a simple non-uniform day or sponsored event with the Choir providing promotional material to help raise awareness. The African Children’s Choir operates field programmes that promote education and spiritual development for children and communities. Since we were founded in 1984, we have established education and training programmes in some of the most war torn and under developed areas of Africa. The UK Tour finishes at the end of January 2013.
