As well as a number of short courses, we also run longer courses which enable participants to build up significant credit towards University awards.. We offer an accredited course at Masters Level, ‘ Meeting the Needs of Ethnic Minority Pupils across the Curriculum’, and the on-line accredited EMA course detailed above, both accredited by the University of Greenwich. Three further courses, ‘Beginners in Mainstream Classes’, 'Advanced Bilinguals in Mainstream Classes' and ‘ Fast Track Literacy’ focus on bilingual learners in primary and secondary schools and how to address their needs. We also offer primary ‘Catch Up’ training in literacy and our new cutting edge course; 'Using Virtual World Technology across the Curriculum'. We are also able to offer 'English for Academic purposes' which should appeal to mainstream practitioners in the UK and abroad who wish to improve the literacy skills of their pupils for exam success.
