Welcome to Communication Across Cultures,

Dear Headteacher / EAL Co-ordinator,

REMINDER: EAL TEACHER TRAINING

Three day EAL teacher training to obtain trainer status in order to train others to support EAL children, from new arrivals to those with higher levels of English - 12-15 July 2012, Reading University.
Last few places still available at a reduced rate!

Do you have many EAL learners in your school?
Do your teachers have to adapt their lessons for these learners?
Do you need some guidance on how to support newcomers to English in your school?

We can offer you an immediate solution. An easy to follow, whole school intervention file and, to accompany it, a three day training conference for a key teacher to receive training they can pass onto others in your school (by becoming an Across Cultures Trainer).

Communication Across Cultures has been created to support teachers of young learners who are beginning their journey of English language learning and cultural understanding and to bring professionals together to learn how they can best accommodate for these new arrivals.

Our focus is on teacher training and resources to support beginners of English in any school where English is the language of instruction. This could be in monolingual or multilingual schools in the UK or internationally.

Communication Across Cultures develops multicultural and multilingual learning opportunities for young learners worldwide by offering innovative and inspiring teacher training and resources.
