Got To Dance

Dear Headteacher / Teacher i/c Dance

I’m contacting you from a Sky1 TV series called Got To Dance, hosted by Davina McCall, where dancing acts and individuals will be competing to win an incredible £250,000.

Last year's Judges will also be returning to the series  - Ashley Banjo (from Diversity), Kimberley Wyatt (ex Pussycat Doll) and Adam Garcia star of the West End stage and screen.

It is an extremely child and teen friendly series, being open to ALL ages. In fact its first series crowned 10-year-old street dancer Akai from Kent as its champion. Since winning, Akai has joined the cast of Into the Hoods, London’s street dance musical.

Further to this, the auditions (which will be taking place nationwide) will be held over the summer holidays so won’t interfere with school time.

It would be great if you were able to forward the attached poster on to your teachers to see if any of your students might want to take part in the programme. It would also be great if you could place the poster on any notice boards in school as well as in form registers to be read to each class.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for your students to get active and creative this summer with the first series encouraging lots of youngsters to get up and Dance! The show is open to ALL ages, ALL capabilities and ALL styles, so everyone is welcome.

If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact a member of the team on dance@princesstv.com who will be more than happy to assist, and if anyone would like to apply then they can follow this link:  www.sky.com/dance

Best wishes,

The Got To Dance Team
