Dear Head of Sixth Form

I am writing from NBC Universal Television Production as we are making a new teen series for BBC 2.

The programme looks at teenage styles, lives and interests, and we are looking for 16-18 year olds who are members of distinctive ‘scenes’ i.e. Skater, Goth, Hip Hop, Plastic, Jock etc and would be keen to represent their scene on television.

We are casting at the moment, and I wonder if you would be kind enough to distribute the attached flyer to students of this age group within your institution. Further to this, it would be fantastic if you could put the attached flyer on any school notice boards or newsletters that are accessible to teens of this age.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the children of your school to represent both their scene, and their school, in a life changing and challenging experience.

We would love to attract teenagers who are really passionate about their particular scene, be it surfing/farming/hip hop music/fashion etc… No scene is too small as long as people really love what they are into.

Our dedicated team are here to ensure those involved have a fun but safe time whilst in our care. All our staff hold current CRB certificates and follow BBC guidelines for working with children. No child under sixteen will be contacted directly and we will ensure each teen has their parent’s permission before taking part in the show.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or if I can provide you with any thing else that would help get the message out there! We would much appreciate your help.

Kind regards

Kenny Hallett
