Dear Head Teacher

We are very excited that lots of schools have signed up to take part in Camo Day, our nationwide Non Uniform Day this year, to raise money for SSAFA Forces Help.

If you’re looking for that extra little bit of persuasion why not watch this short Camo Day promotional video filmed by 12 year old Alfie from Scarborough. www.ssafa.org.uk/camoday Alfie’s friends explain why it is important that you join us and show your support to our Armed Forces and their families, on the day before Armed Forces Day 2012.

All the money raised will stay local to your community, helping soldiers, sailors, airmen, veterans and their families who live near to your school. Last year alone we supported 50,000 individuals across the UK ... and with your help we’ll do that this year too.

For more information about Camo Day, including a resource pack and registration form, please visit www.ssafa.org.uk/camoday . Every pupil taking part will receive a Camo Day wristband – just let us know how many you would like and we will send them out to you.

Thanks in advance, from everyone at SSAFA Forces Help.

Yours faithfully

Camo Day

Teacher, Darren Hindley, encourages
schools to take part:
"Camo Day is great as it’s a fun way
to support our troops and their families.
The children really enjoyed themselves
and had a great sense that they were
helping other people."
