Sense Drunathon - Friday 22nd June 2012

Join Sense for the Drumathon in 2013

Help Sense create the BIGGEST BANG EVER!  Get involved in Drumathon 2013 and help raise awareness and funds for deafblind children and adults across the UK.

DrumathonWhat is Drumathon?
Drumathon will be a wonderful sensory overload for all involved.  We aim to have over 10,000 children drumming the same rhythm and raising vital funds for those people who have dual sensory loss.  We hope your pupils will make a real effort in creating imaginative drumming equipment from everyday household objects to carnivalesque explosions of rhythm and colour!

Take a look at last year's photos to see how other schools got involved…

During International Deafblindness Awareness Week (the last week of June 2013) we would love people everywhere to stop and think for just a few minutes about the value of sight and sound and what better way of communicating this than by banging a rhythm across the nation!

An Extra Incentive!
Sense will be happy to share some of the fundraising with each school that goes out of its way to help us reach out to deafblind people…
You can choose whether you would like the total money raised to be split: 20% can be retained by the school to spend however you wish, 80% used by Sense to enrich the lives of deafblind people and their families.  We suggest a minimum donation of £2 per pupil.

So, come on, get involved!
