  STAR OF HOPE 2011
  CHRISTMAS APPEAL

An exciting educational opportunity for your school to send messages of HOPE to orphans and other vulnerable children in South Africa, for only £1 per pupil!

Project HOPE UK is a registered charity working to transform the lives of children in poor communities in developing countries.

Our Thoughtful Path programme in Munsieville, South Africa’s  oldest undeveloped township, is starting to bring real changes, but we need your help to make this Christmas a memorable one for the children and show them that they have friends in the UK.

Take part in our Star of HOPE Christmas appeal and your pupils will find out about a day in the life of a child growing up in Munsieville, by completing our free worksheet – they’ll be amazed at the differences between their lives and those of children in a South African township.

They will use their artistic skills to decorate a Star of HOPE which we will send out to Munsieville to hang on a giant Christmas tree at a special party for the children in December.

Finally, when you return the Stars of HOPE to us, please send a donation of just £1 per star, which we will use in our programme to change the lives of children in Munsieville for ever!

We will supply the worksheets and star templates, or you can download them from our Web site.

Find out more about the Star of HOPE appeal and register here, or contact Ellie Higgins (ehiggins@projecthopeuk.org) for further details.

On behalf of the children in Munsieville, THANK YOU!
