Dear Headteacher,

Sugar magazine, the UK’s best-selling teen title, has a brilliant opportunity for your creative or media-inclined students, and I am hoping you will encourage your pupils to participate.

Sugar is launching a search for student contributors to work on our special Teen Power issue. We are looking for talented students to take on the roles of:

• Staff Writer
• Celebrity Editor
• Designer
• Fashion Editor
• Beauty Writer
• Photographer
• Web Writer
• ... And, of course, The Editor

We will pay for the winning applicants to come to London over the summer break to work with the Sugar team on our Teen Power issue, which will go on sale later this year.

I hope you find this idea as exciting as we do. Please encourage your students to enter by printing this poster and sticking it up around the school, and asking those teachers who take art/ media/ PSE lessons to encourage their students to enter.

The competition is open to boys and girls, aged 12-17. Entry requirements for each role can be found in the current issue of Sugar, or on www.sugarscape.com/teenpower The deadline for entries is 28 April 2010.
