Government officials visiting Dublin - 30 Primary teachers and 20 Secondary English teachers needed
The government of Abu Dhabi is creating a world class bilingual education system. As part of this initiative, western teachers who are trained and experienced from Ireland, UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, called Licensed Teachers (LTs) are being hired to work in state schools across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE.
Licensed Teachers are government employees and receive top pay and benefits - about 30% higher pay than they get in nearby international schools - and work in state schools that are still developing resources and up to date systems. The tax free salaries range from 32,000 to 48,000 euro per year TAX FREE and the generous employment package includes yearly flights for yourself and dependents, renewable 2 year contracts, free furnished housing and an extra month's salary per year of service as an end of service bonus.
LTs work for and alongside locally employed Emiratis and other Gulf Nationals. There are between 4 and 10 LTs per school. One of the challenges of this programme is that because of the size and scale of the deployment - there are over 300 schools and 2000 LTs, teachers will not know exactly what school they will be teaching with until they arrive.
This kind of programme requires much more flexibility and adaptability than other teaching options abroad-and that is precisely why salaries are higher than any other teaching position in the Middle East.

Degree and teacher training for Primary or Secondary English, with teacher registration in Ireland.
