Free-standing Traverse walls

Many schools do not have a suitable wall for a traverse wall to go onto existing masonry, so we created a Free-standing traverse wall that can be customised to a schools needs. The one pictured above is double-sided and gives over 4M of climbing area, it is stained with golden oak varnish, however it can be painted to any colour or design a customer wishes - or feature complex mural designs (see our website for examples.) These walls do not require Rubber safety surfacing as they are within the legal 2.2M high threshold.

The Structure is heavy duty with internal crossbeam sandwiched between 18mm exterior plywood. Unlike most traversing walls, the climbing grips on ours can be repositioned over and over again to create new challenges- which makes it ideal for the outdoor learning cards tasks.

Mock Rock

We do not import anything, all our climbing holds are made by us in the UK and each climbing wall can be extended at a later date with extra sections added at different angles to create a challenging climbing experience. The above wall is 2M wide and can be climbed on both sides so it has 4M+ of climbing area, as standard we give 12 climbing grips per linear meter.  There is no limit to how long the wall can be so we can quote for sizes above those detailed below.
