My name is Karen La Borde and I am writing from the Winter Sports Company with information for school and college leavers who may be interested in a career in the winter/adventure sports industry.

The digital leaflet attached to this email has details on how to gain instructor qualifications in skiing and snowboarding. The content includes information on where and how to attain internationally recognised certification as well as advice on starting a career and finding employment around the world. Please could you print this poster and display on your careers information board?

We believe this information is a chance for your students to explore alternatives to the traditional routes to employment and training. A ski and snowboard instructor programme, either as the start to a career or as part of a gap year, will develop students’ skills, confidence and knowledge.

We are also currently seeking interns for our winter 2014/2015 internship programme. This programme gives students a chance to gain instructor qualifications at a much reduced cost whilst earning while they learn.
