Dear Head / Deputy Head

I am writing to you, regarding the training I offer to Children, Teacher’s Assistants and Midday Staff for the Spring and Summer Term.

I have also found that year 5 can be an ideal group to train up at this time of the year. The aims are to Educate and promote positive play, to engage and encourage all children to be involved, and to develop skills within the playground.

I have found that schools benefit from, Games without equipment, children gaining more confidence, improved relationships between lunch time staff and children and a reduction of conflicts in the playground.

The training would take place on a normal school day using the playground and the hall. We would start at 9:30am and finish at 3:00pm; stopping for the usual breaks and dinnertime. I also do in-service training workshops for all the staff.

This training will need no equipment at all and has been proved very successful in Primary Schools across the Country and can be delivered on either a one day or two day program, I find in larger schools a 2 day programme can be more appropriate.

The training now includes Playground Mediation this has been especially designed for defusing conflict situations in the playground.  I will be happy to talk to you and explain how the Playground Mediation Training would benefit your school.

The program can be altered to suit the needs of your school.

If you would like any further information, please contact me on my email address above.

I look forward to hearing from you

Yours sincerely,

John Goodwin
