In the run up to the Olympics this summer, you may be thinking up new ways to engage your students in sport. If so, and you fancy trying something different, why not introduce them to cycling using our one-day coaching program delivered by our enthusiastic and dedicated coaches.
Cycling is now officially the third most popular sport in the UK yet it is still a rare activity in schools. Pro Ride has been running a successful cycle sport coaching program in schools since the Tour de France visited Yorkshire in 2014. In that short time over 3000 children have taken part in this fun, action packed program and this year the program is being rolled out nationally so even more children can take part.
Under the supervision of our fully qualified coaches, the children use their own bikes for a series of activities designed to build confidence, improve basic skills  and take part in fun games, challenges and mini races. The day is suitable for all levels of ability and is usually split into four sessions catering for about 60 children (two classes) using your school field or playground.
