Dear Head Teacher,

What are you doing for Armed Forces Day?

29 June 2013 is Armed Forces Day. Its a chance to join together to give a massive pat on the back to the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces, from currently serving troops to Service families and from veterans to cadets www.armedforcesday.org.uk . How are you celebrating?

Since 1885, SSAFA has been there providing lifelong support to our Armed Forces family Camo Day is our huge school Non Uniform Day in celebration of our Forces family and their contribution to our country.

Join us on 28th June (21st in Scotland).

Last year, 20,000 children took part in Camo Day and this year we have schools signed up from across the UK and overseas to take part again. Watch our video here to see how brilliant Camo Day 2012 was. Our resource pack gives more information, tips and ideas and also includes teaching resources that you will find useful too.

Dress up or dress down, cam your face or wear green, make it as simple or as unusual as you want but join us to say thank you and raise money. Your donations will help us care for the Armed Forces family, long after their battles end.

A simple Non Uniform Day in your school will make a difference. Sign Up here.

With grateful thanks,
