**CALL FOR ENTRIES – Are you the next best young inventor?**
The nationwide search for this year's Ideal Home Show, ‘Home Inventor of the Year' has begun, as Suzi Perry, gadget guru and TV presenter, officially calls upon all creative minds, product designers, gadgetiers and amateur home design inventors, to come up with the next best domestic home invention of 2010.
The Ideal Home Show, home of some of the most iconic product launches of its time, are once again looking for the ultimate domestic invention for the home, to be entered into this year's competition.
Entries can relate to any aspect of the home at all, from a kitchen tool, high-tech home entertainment gadget, a piece of future thinking furniture, or even your take on the latest robotic pet, whatever your idea, we want to see it!
Suzi Perry Commented; “The Ideal Home Show is synonymous with innovation and world first product launches, having seen many household gadgets emerge such as the very first Hoover, the kettle, the sewing machine, the microwave oven, the electric lawn mower and more recently Sky HD, this year is no exception.
“We want to see what your idea of the ideal domestic invention is, that would be your ‘ideal' home innovation. We want to get the UK public's creative juices flowing, so enter our competition with your chance to be displayed at this year's show!”
This year budding inventors, are asked to submit their product designs before the 19th February 2010, for the chance to win the exclusive opportunity to showcase their idea, in the Ideal Home of the Future, at the Ideal Home Show, this March.
Ten lucky finalists will go into a shortlist, and be whittled down to a final three designs. The winning product design will be created into a prototype, and unveiled at this year's Ideal Home Show, which takes place at Earl's Court in London between March 20th and April 5th 2010.
“We are always on the look out for the latest and best ideas, for domestic products, and through our annual ‘Ideal Home Inventor of the Year' competition, we continue to support young talent, and aim to see the nation's ideas brought to life.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for people to see their innovative concepts brought to life, and unveiled in front of key industry insiders and thousands of visiting public.” said organiser Lee Newton.
This year's judging panel will include the Ideal Home Show's Celebrity Ambassadors, Suzi Perry and George Clarke.
